49 total registered players and 17 guests made the 35th Edition of the Heart of America a success by any standard. The temperature averaged twice the number of our players and the scores were just as hot on a links style golf course that was tough but fair for hickory play. Golf course management of your ball and the philosophy of " risk vs. reward " was indeed a consideration.
The Tournament Committee wants to thank all of those that were able to attend, participate and continue 35 years of tradition in hickory golf. Thank you again.
Bill Reed - President of the Golf Collectors Society.
